Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete fighting for the UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is in Kyrgyzstani. She is the elder sister of fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into fighting sports by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous decision. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, an award of bronze in 2008 and a medal gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion of 2016 by IFMA.
